    Thinking about buying the Sony 315 for recording some Direct TV shows etc. Can I use this to record my Mini DV movies from my video camera> From mini DV to DVD?

    Did a little research and found I could! But!!! Can this DVD be used to copy that media from my Camcorder...then copy that to PC...Then edit and reburn??

    Hmmmm Might be easier to just go from Camera to PC...edit then burn
