You could try using something like virtualdubmpeg or virtualdubmod to remove the glitched section, but really there isn't much you can do other than download / capture it again.

If you know where the freeze occurs then you can cut it out.

um... i mean the glitched section is fine, but i cannot continue using the whole video...in virtualdub and virtualdubmod, it doesn't open.

you see, i got those videos from overused vcds - changed it to mpeg using vcdgear (even it says it 'fixes' the stream - it really doesn't). then when i want to reauthor the mpeg into another vcd using tmpgenc express (i was planning to make it into a single mpeg video, rather than mpegs), when the process of encoding the video into one file, the picture of the video freezes into that certain point. that's it - the rest of the mpeg is that part of the video, then if it is time for the next mpeg, the video is fine.

how will fix the mpeg error. it's ok, if there are glitches. i have those videos, some are even much erratic but when processing it into tmpgenc express and videocd, it looks fine. sure when playing the video, there are pixelations, but it does play.

    so...help!!!

    is cutting the only way?
