    anyone actually replaced the loader in the dvd recorder?

    i have a hyundai dvr-900a i would like to replace the loader in. i have tried a pioneer a06 and a pioneer 110d dvd burner in it and both work great apart from one small problem. when you playback the recording it pauses/skips here and there. maybe try a different brand of burner like lg or something?

    I tried to replace the drive in my JVC DR-MH20 with a LG GSA-4160B
    Did not work

    what happened? did it do nothing at all? as mined worked correctly apart from the jerky recordings almost like buffer underun.

    Did not even boot up correcly. After half a minute opened the tray and the "Loading" message kept blinking.
