I have been looking at getting one of these cards but am a bit confused which one is best - have read some conflicting advice.

Firstly, I have both PCI and AGP slots available. AGP is better, right?

Next, I want to capture from my Hi-8 camcorder, edit it and add sound, then output to VHS and VCD. Does the bundled software (Ulead Studio is it?) do this? Which ATI card is best? Do they allow output to VCR? What's the quality like?

I am in the UK, therefore we are talking PAL.

Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas...!

    My PC:
    700Mhz Celeron
    256Mb RAM
    Separate 60Gb IDE HD
Old graphics card, needs new one anyway.

    AGP better
For what you want to do probubly the AIW or the 6500-8500 series, no tuner on the later, except the new 8500dv which I don't believe is out yet, but they do have composite out and do a great job of capturing.
