I'm going to be reinstalling a friend's OS, and I'd like to steer him toward Vegas (and away from his Premiere 6.0). He loves his RT2500, so I'm curious if the card is even usable with Vegas. It would most likely be Vegas 6. I'm pretty certain that he does not use the card for capturing his DV video (some 24p), rather he uses it for its realtime effects rendering within Premiere.
He has XP (not sure if it's Home or Pro) and a reasonably powerful system.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Gary
