Is there any "easier" and faster way to split an 1 gb svcd mpeg to 2 cds than using tmpgenc's mpeg tools?
    thanks.

Well I'm not sure if its faster or easier but there's definitely a better way. bbmpeg is the ONLY compliant mpeg2 cutter/multiplexor I have ever come across. Mpeg2 files cut with TMPGenc do not contain the proper svcd scan offsets which often results in sync problems on many dvd players. bbmpeg seems a little faster than TMPGenc on my system but its not a huge difference. Another advantage though is that you can cut by filesize so you can be guaranteed that you will completely fill each cdr.
