Impossible to get a lower bitrate

Hi

I try to convert an avi file using tmpgenc
and a the last screen of the wizard i try to lower the file size to about 2000 Mb
the the current 4419 Mb always stay there and it seem impossible for me to lower the size or the bitrate

can you tell me why and how can lower the file size ?

could be mp3 vbr audio and tmpgenc may get the avi runtime wrong. convert the audio to wav and use as source,

or set the bitrate manually.
