  1. I have had sucess in the past converting PAL to NTSC, more recently I have had great sucess converting PAL to NTSC using the DGPulldown method, but I am having some issues with my latest attempt. I have some shows that were recorded for me to dvd-r in PAL format, the only difference between these and what I have done before is that these are 704x576 vs. 720x576.
The probelm with these is that no matter what method I try, I get a "shadowing" problem when there is lots of motion. I am sure it is a fps issue but I am lost as to how to correct it. I have tried also in the past connecting a DVD player that will play PAL disks to my set-top recorder, but the picture stutters when playing (Cyberhome 300 from K-mart). Perhpas someone can suggest a better player?

  3. Well, I picked up a Phillips DVD player from Walmart and it seems to be playing them perfectly, with no stutterring like before on the Cyberhome player.
