I just went to author a DVD using a recording I made with my Compro DVB-T300 card.
I thought that the file would be DVD compliant but it says it's a 50fps file (PAL).
If I use DVDpatcher to make it 25fps DVDlab accepts it but playback is at half speed

What should I be doing to get it working ?

    Thanks

I tried the patched file in PowerDVD and it played fine. I'll do a test burn and see what happens.

Perhpas it is just a thing with DVDlab.

Picture quality on the TV was brilliant but it did play back at 1/2 speed.
Back to the drawing board I think!

You recorded channel 7 HD didn't you! Channel 7, and SBS and ABC use 576p, which is the same resolution as SDTV and DVD, but with 50fps. Assuming the source is film, then each second frame is the same as the last. Simple solution: Record the SD Channel.

Yes, it did turn out to be a HD recording.
Tried SD and it went fine. I love it when there's a simple answer.
    Cheers
