  1. I've searched these forums and Google over the past week and haven't found a satisfactory method for authoring an audio DVD.

I've tried two programs: Apollo Audio DVD Creator and Audio DVD Creator, but neither have the customizablity I am looking for.

I have never authored a DVD, so am not sure which programs (Scenarist, Maestro, TMPGenc Author, DVDLab) have the features and flexibility I am looking for.

Basically, I want to make an Audio DVD akin to the DTS Audio DVDs being released now (only without the DTS). I will be using PCM/WAV quality audio tracks, i.e. CD quality.

I want to have menus and chapters, and for each chapter I'd like to attribute an audio and an image file. The image file would consist of text pertinent to each individual song (artist, title, album, date, length, etc.) and a picture of the artist and album cover, for instance.

I would likely make the image files in Photoshop or Paint. Unless, a DVD authoring program exists which allows me to create jpg, bmp, or gif files internally.

In other words, when the song starts playing, I'd like to display information and image files related to that song. In fact, it'd be even better if I could display multiple images for each song... sort of like a slide show or with the lyrics scrolling across the screen.

I've made mix tapes and mix cds for people and just thought this would be a fun "next step."

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
