I live in Canada and transfered , captured my home made video's into avi nstc file.
I presently made myself DVD's , using Tmpgenc 2.5 or Tmpgenc Xpress and all works well.
My question is , I want to also make dvd's to send to family members in Europe (Italy).

Using my present source captured in avi(nstc).
Do I only need to use the DVD PAl template setting in Tmpgenc, instead of DVD NSTC template?

    Thanks

I was surfing and found some info regarding my question,
I'm just wondering if this is true.

The Topic : I have an NTSC project and want a PAL DVD.

"The good news is: You can just send an NTSC disc. Any PAL set top DVD player capable of playing DVD-R discs can also play NTSC discs. All that is needed is a fairly new TV, built in the last 8-10 years or so.

Do you want to send a VHS tape? Well, since about half of the PAL VCR's are capable of playing an NTSC tape, your chances aren't as good as with a DVD. You still need a fairly new TV, built in the last 8-10 years or so."
