interesting view into Baldrick's private life...
barefoot (hopefully NOT naked?!?) watching some good old Elton John.
a rather artsy way of decorating one wall, and using a movie screen to block off the patio (the light! NOT THE LIGHT!!!!)

Sanyo Projector here. ~ 8' horizontal measurement. I used to connect it to a home DVD player, but now I play DVDs on the PC and connect to the projector via VGA. Much better picture that way! And I now watch my shows on the big screen in HDTV, as well as NFL. It's great, but I gotta keep the room fairly dark.

I have a 20" for my surround sound
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
54" in the Living Room.
But because projectors seem to be coming down, the last 2 week's i've been looking into some and thinking about putting a pulldown screen in that i can just pull down in front of the current ET/TV to watch movie like Baldrick's -
Screen size isn't as important as how many screen heights you sit back from the screen.
HDTV should be viewed 2.5 to 3.3 screen heights from the display surface. Much farther and you aren't seeing the HD advantage.
SDTV can be 5 to 9 screen heights back (unless you use binoculars).Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

27" w/5.1 surround...I built a projector using an OHP and one of the old style lcd panels..i used it in my computer room with a white shower curtain to play emulated games..it gave me an 85" screen...it was kinda neat but the 600W halogen bulb can heat a room up real quick :P.
my surround sound setup is kinda ghetto fabulous as well..it's a standard pioneer SS amp with 2 jbl tower speakers and pioneer center & surrounds. The sub is where this thing really shines and where it gets super ghetto fabulous. I am using my old TEAC stereo amp (100W x 2) to push 2 10" subs (4ohm car subs, mind you) in a bandpass box. So I have a single rca coming out from the SS amp sub port that splits into 2 rca's and goes into the aux input of my TEAC amp. and out to the speakers. If i'm listening to music or a movie and don't feel the action it's cause the TEAC either didn't get turned on or isn't set to AUX :P -
my setup is like yours (DLP + Bose) but my screen rolls up (72" wide) I am looking for a 96" or bit bigger screen . Many made comments on your living room my turn!! move your couch to look straight into the screen. Kidding ..

logic dictates that a person with a 15", can select the 60" or less selection & still be correct!!!

American Chopper, IMHO the only good thing to come out of reality tv.

Evening everyone.
As for my tv viewing, I use my trusty old 20" connected to
the very old connection of 15 plus years I think. No RCA
or S-Video here, but the picture IMHO is very good for all
my viewing pleasure, includes: Antenna; VHS; Laserdisc; DVD.
@ Hardcoreruss
If I may ask, what camera did you use to take that pic on your
setup, it really looked good, and nice grain's too ???
