Ive had this prob for a while and that on certain websites take ages to load.
I know its not the website because on the pc next door it loads fine.
This have a 1 meg a bit connection and shd not be doing this.
next door is half the speed and it loads 10 times as fast on the same site.
It does it on a lot of sites and especially sites found on google.
Done loads of spyware checks but its not that cuasing it i dont think.
It does the same thing on firefox and IExplorer.
What do i need to do to stop it?
It has been like this for the past month or so on certain sites.

  4. A computer provided by your ISP that connects website domains (videohelp.com) with IP addresses (67.19.225.212). Call your ISP and have them trace your connection to any sites you have a problem with.

Do the sites you went to have lots of graphics? Sometimes, a mediocre video card can slow you down significantly when you try to open graphic-loaded sites.

    Enter this:

That's the IP address for www.ebay.co.uk (kind of, if you see an E-bay logo, you're there)

if that WORKS, it is almost certainly your DNS server.

SE14man, I had exactly the same problem, it was mainly with ebay as well. I also have a 1MBit/s connection.

It turned out that my firewall was the culprit. (came with my motherboard, in my case for my nforce4).

After unistalling my nforce firewall, it seemed to work fine.

    Hi,
My graphics card is a Geforce MX-440.
I thoughti had the xp firewall running but thats not running either.
    Nor is the avast one.
This does seem to happen though since installing SP2 a few weeks back.
I can only think now that it is something in services or maybe i am running a firewall im unaware of??
