Yeah i just recently bought "KWORLD Video Magician PCI Interface Video Editing Kit - Retail", from newegg, and i noticed on the wire to connect the bay to the Video Card there is like a big ole magnet on the end that's towards the bay...

    >_>.... I REALLY thought i should ask someone about this because i was taught magnets and computer just do not mix. Where exactly do i put this thing? Do i cut it off? or is it ok to put that inside my computer? Do i distant it away from something?

Arrgh the card cost me 100$ and it didn't even come with a halfway decent installation guide(4 pages ;_

I've put a lot of hard work into my computer and i don't want to go and make it into a huge coaster. Thank you for anyhelp i get.

Don't panic. That is most likely a RF toroid. It's made of a material that blocks radio frequency interference. It's usually in the shape of a donut, with the wires wound through it. It's pretty common on cables, especially external drive cables. It's not a magnet. It blocks outside interference. It's often disguised in a plastic cover as just a lump on the cable.
