I was just wondering how one might go about creating a DV file with 24p flags attached to it?
I have footage from a 24p camera and my editor perfectly detects that it's 24 (23.976)fps.
How might I render a file (such as if I created something in After Effects) in 24p, but with DV flags. For the purposes of this project, I need 29.97 files to get my editor to DETECT the pulldown. If I render with a burnt-in pulldown, it doesn't detect that it's 24p. If I render a 24p file, my editor re-renders the file to 29.97.
Everything is fine when coming/going from the deck, but those are files that already have pulldown flags. How can I add pulldown flags to a 24p DV file? Is that even possible?
