Ok, ive researched for hours to try and find the asnwer to this b ut im either not finding the answer i want or confusing myself
I am using sony vegas 6 atm, I have got my video captured onto the computer , it is all in seperate files and i added them to the timeline, if i want to cut some bits out within an event, am i supposed to be able to do on vegas or do i do this after ive encoded it ?
i hope that makes some sorta sense lol

If you mean, you want to cut and delete a bit from within a clip, yes you can. Simply highlight the portion and click delete. You can also move the curser on the timeline to the begining of the part you want to remove and click S, then move to the end of the portion you want to remove and click S again. You have now SPLIT the clip, isolating the part you don't want out of the the middle of the clicp. Select that piece and delete. Now you simply join the end by draging over to meet up with the first piece. If you have SNAP on it will stick to it accurately and effortlessly.
There are many many ways to do just about any edit function within Veags. You do ALL your editing before encoding to whatever video format you need later.No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
