help with CD burning?

I was using Easy CD Creator 5.0 Platium to make A VCD I went threw all the steps got to burning and wasted about 2 blank cd-r's and 1 blank cd-rw trying to burn my movie.mpg on A disk it gives me this error when burning is up "E80041899:Write error-buffer underrun occured-[06/C5/00]
E80041925:Track write error-Command retry failed-[T7118] Please everyone read this careful and help me understand my problem cause this is really getting frustrating burning A cd and it wasted up 1-5 cds.

If default write speed is above 6
Change your write speed to 2 or 4. It will be OK

ok thanx alot man but I did that I changed write speeds at 2-4 still nothing but I fired up nero burner and it seemed to burn good and play on my computer fine but one small problem did not play in my Samsung-709 that sucked though does that mean its not A VCD or my standalone DVD player doesnt read those "MEMOREX CD-RW" I used CD-R's to but they didnt work just worked on my computer with windows media player 7.1 I guess its just my DVD player doesnt read them right?

Some dvd players will have problem with cd-rw even if manufacturers says it reads cd-rw.
Some times works, some times not.

I am sure if you burn on CD-R, your player will accept. Why don't you give a try.

I burnt on CD-R's still no playing of VCD's and im doing it correctly maybe my Samssung DVD-709 just has to have certain kind of cd's to play on it if not respond back to me please thanx alot.
