Hi, i have a little problem.. Iīve burn a VCD using VCDEasy (best result with this one, also used Nero !!)
I burn a standard VCD 1.1. My standalone dvd player (thomson dth3300) recognise this disc and displays Video CD 1.1. And then shows number of tracks that i have burn. But when i try 2 play one of these tracks nothing happends, it just keep seeking 4-ever.
I use tmpgen to decode to mpeg with a standard PALVCD-template.. What am i doing wrong ?? Please Help !!!
    Best regards A.M

  2. First play your VCD with some sofware player on you PC. If you don't have any, open Windows media player and open .dat file from your VCD (CD-ROM). If it not playes then something wrong with your conversion/authoring process

I have tried both medias (CDR and CDRW), and itīs only CDRW-discs that work.. It recognise the disc as a Video CD 1.1 and find the tracks, but doesnīt play them..

  7. The most likely reason for your problems (as others have alluded to) is that your DVD player can't read CD-R/W media well.

Try to burn an audio CD on the same media and see how well that plays...

You will probably have to experiment with different brands of media to find one that works. CD-RW often works better in these circumstances.

I tried to burn a ordinary music cd, and same as before..
Recognise as a Audio Cd, how many tracks and total playing time..
But when i try to play a track poor result.. But a funny thing was that when i fastforward a track at 4x i could hear some sound from the song..But when i play it in normal speed it just spins and spins.. WHY ??
It almost seems like i get better result everytime i Rewrite the CDRW. I use a brand called LEAD DATA SILVER BLUE Professional. How many times can you Rewrite a CDRW ??

As I stated before, your DVD player was not designed to read CD-R or CD-RW media and not surprisingly it doesn't do so well.
