i have a dvd that i made with old videos on it that i would like to take off and put on a new dvd. i use cinematize to rip the titles as DV so i can easily use them in FCP and DVDSP. here's my problem: the dvd has two title sets. i can select the second title set and set the output section of the menu to export as DV, but when i go back and select the first title set the output menu has the DV option greyed out. i didnt touch any of the other settings since i ripped the last title set, theyre all still the same. and as far as i could see both title sets have the same specs, so why is one set able to be exported to DV and the other not? is there something im not seeing here?
any help would be greatly appreciated...

Miraizon provides excellent email support so I suggest contacting them about this. If the Video and Audio settings are to export as QuickTime then the Output menu should show the option you want. I haven't seen the problem you're having except when I set the Video export to save as an MPEG in which case the Output window didn't allow DV. I'm writing this without looking at the application so I may have some of the terms wrong.

  3. I think Frobozz is right-- the settings on the ouptut menu depend on the formats of the tracks you select. If your audio track is in a format that can't be decoded (e.g. DTS audio) then the program won't let you save out to QuickTime. Try changing to an alternate audio track and see if that solves things.

ok, it turns out it was the audio. i didnt expect the two titles to have different audio formats considering the video was the same format. but i can export the video and audio separately and put them back together in DVDSP, so it all worked out. thanks for the help.
