    Hello i just captured a video from vhs to my computer in mpeg form but the quality is not as sharp as my original vhs ,i burned it on cd and watched it on my vcd player but it was as sharp as the original vhs,what am i doin wrong,i am using pinnacle studio version av,dv,thanks
    is it my setting or what?

    Lemme get this straight:

    It's not as sharp in playback on the PC, but is when played on your VCD player ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. VCD has less resolution than VHS -- so of course your VCD isn't as clear. You also probably deinterlaced which blurred the two fields together. You'll get much better results with SVCD.
