    Hello

    After using Dvddecrypter to demux a dvd-r movie, I end up with 1 ac3-file and 4 m2v-files.
I want to edit the m2v-files, so that i can set the bitrate of the movie to 8000 or less.
I have no f.. clue on how to do this..have been troubled by it all damn week, heh ( Dont ask me why i want to do it )
Many people have told me that i could use tmpgenc to use this.
Well, I have been trying for days now, but always encountered a numourous number of errors. I have made sure i have installed the m2v-plugin, but still i gett errormessage telling me that the file cant be opened.
Right before i get that errormessage, i get told that i ned dvd-player software to be able to watch dvds. So ?
I have Cyberlink Power DVD installed, by which i have watched a lot of movies. So that should qualify for being dvd player software.
So why do i still get that annoying message?
Excuse my temperament, but my nerves are being weekend by the minute now

Anyone willing to give me a detailed guideance to how i do this, since i obvioiusly must be completely retarded.
    I have 1 ac3-soundfile and 4 m2v-files.
What i want to do is to change the bitrate to 8000 before i put the "pieces" back again to a complete dvd-r.
    What i need to know:
what program do i need to opened the damned m2v-files ?
How to i change the number of the bitrate to 8000 or less ?

Whats the easiest program to use for this? And could u please give a guidance adapted for retarted people, so that i can do this during this weekend without killing myself? :/

    Best regards:

Which programs do you have or have you tried to open your m2v files with, other than the Cyberlink Power DVD player? Bear in mind that just because a player will play DVD files, that doesn't necessarily mean it will handle elementary streams.
    flonk!
