Hello everyone, I have some videos and I want to watch them on a stand alone dvd player but they are in .bin/.cue, on my last post people said to use ISObuster to extract the informatino out of the .bin/.cue. Well i'm trying to do this, and when I open up the .bin i see the following folders:
EXT
MPEG2
SEGMENT
SVCD
In the tree list view, it shows ISO and those folders under it.
I see it says, extract, but what do i extract and then what do I do with the extractions? I'm not a noob with DVD burning, just with .bin/.cue's. I need to figure out how to convert this stuff to VOB files so I can watch them on the dvd player any ideas? THanks!

Thats the layout for an svcd. Most players will play them without a problem. So why dont you use a cd and open whatever app you have for burning. If its nero it can burn a bin/que, actually most can
This way it will just save you time, burn the bin/que. Once its done you will have an svcd (remember use cds not dvds), pop it in your player and enjoy. Check the players list here first to see if your brand can play it, again most can. -
I gotta agree with what mazinz said, use ISOBuster to extract the files in the archive to some folder on your hard drive, then from there use Nero or Alcohol 120% to burn the cue/bin files to a CD and pop the CD into your stand-alone player.
It doesn't get much easier than that, IMHO.
Good luck!
Cheers!

use use Nero or Alcohol 120% or cdrwin or prassiONES to burn the bin/cue to a cd ..
you dont need to extract anything , waste of time ..
or mount the bin cue with daemon tools"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

How do I burn/extract image files, IMG, ISO, BIN/CUE, VOB ?If in doubt, Google it. -
Thanks, I read that post but didn't help much, just gave me some software to use to extract .bin/.cue. I tried burning a .bin/.cue before and it would play fine in my computer but when i tried to play it in my dvd player it would be all screwed up. Like it would flicker and it would have no audio, no color, all kinds of messed up. Are all .bin/.cue files vcd? maybe i just got unlucky and burnt a .bin/.cue that wasn't in the right format. I don't have any cd's left so thats why i'm havn't tried it again. Is it a real bitch to try to convert a vcd that has 2 .bin files into a dvd?

maybe your dvd player doesnt play svcd
maybe it is a pal svcd"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Well i can play dvds that are in NTFS format, could it still be a PAL and if it is, can it play vcds?
-
well since you say you are in the usa - i hope your dvd player plays NTSC
but that doesnt have any bearing on if your dvd player will play svcds .. many dont , or at least not well
and most dvd players in the usa do not play pal - nor hardly any tvs accept pal .. you might have a dvd player that converts though ."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Hi, Why not use dvd decrypter to extract the bin cue file and burn at the same time.
Place blank cd-r in drive
Goto Mode, ISO, Write
Select Soucre, (File that contains the bin file)
Select Destination drive
I recommend to select a slow burn speed (8X)Have yer paid your dues Jack??
Yes Sir, the cheque is in the mail!!!
