DVD Architect will not allow you to import a DTS audio file for authoring. You need DVD Lab Pro-that will. Alternatively, consider adding a 5.1 audio file with DVD Architect instead-think of the file size between a DTS and a 5.1-there's a big difference and for not a lot of difference in sound quality.

I think he means a 5.1 AC3 file, instead of a 5.1 DTS file. It is not recommended that your only audio track be DTS anyway, as this is a) outside the DVD spec, and b) requires an optical/coax digital connection to a decoding amplifier (in the vast majority of cases) to get any sound. DTS does not downmix to stereo analogue output like AC3 does.

DVD lab Pro will allow multiple audio tracks but for there to be a DTS track, then there MUST also be an AC3 track; It is possible because i tinkered around with a file some time back and added 3 separate audio tracks; DTS, AC3 5.1 and AC3 2ch to a DVD; just a mini project to try and get to grips with DVD Lab Pro ( NOT the easiest of programs i can assure you, so look for some guides on the more complex requirements).

vegas does not produce true EX ac3 files ....

if you are going to master this and sell it - you should have made the dolby ac3 stereo in vegas as it is lic'd as well as more in spec ..

you will have to take the m2v file, the audio files and redo the authoring completly in dvdlab (including new menus) ,.. unless you can 'add' the dts track to an existing compiled disk with ifoedit ..

though personally i would not send such a disk out for mastering as a test with d-probe will show such a disk as non compliant ..

get someone with Scenarist or DVD STUDIO (mac) to author the disk or do the whole thing in dvd lab pro (but be aware of its limitations)
