  1. Does anyone know of any good tutorials on how to create a DVDLab Pro menu with Photoshop? I am particularly interested in how to create hotspots that change colors when selected.

    Thanks for any info

You create them in DVD Lab the same way you would for any menu item. In photoshop create a multi-layer PSD file. Layer 1 is your background. The other layers have your menu items - it works best if you have one leyer per menu item. If you want to add styles (drop shadows, glows etc) make sure you rasterise the layer before saving or you wont see them in DVD Lab. Save the PSD file. In DVD Lab import the psd as a menu. All your menu items can now be selected individually, linked to assets, and have colours assigned. Remeber though - the DVD spec is a simple beast, so you are limited to the range of colours you can use on menus for highlights. If you want something more complex you need to look at the switched menu tutorial at the mediachance website.

  4. guns1inger thanks for the help.

Everything works like you wrote. The only thing I am still having an issue with is after adding style and rasterizing the layer in PS the styles still dont show up in DVDLab.
