Hi
I have downloaded a screensaver that doesn't automatically go in to the screensaver folder. I had to extract it, which I did, and then couldn't find where to put it. I have it stored at the moment in My Received files. I am running Windows XP. Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Take the .scr file, and put it in your Windows folder.

in system or system32 ..
but really you can put it in in just the windows folder also .. as long as it is in your path
but make sure it is not really a virus -- some *.scr file really are .. or some really suck up system resources .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
