Vobsub. Save settings ?

Hope someone can help...

When playing a movie vobsub autostarts and shows subs. A little icon shows in the tray. I double-click the icon, click "launch config dialog" and changes the Outline from 2 to 1. Click ok.

Works great.

I close WMP, double-click on another movie, and vobsub reverts to using the default value (2) for the Outline.

Is there any way I can have any of the settings be permanent ? Either in the registry or an .ini file ?

It already is stored in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gabest\VSFilter\Text\Style

The 7th value is the border.

thx.... but....

I had the old vobsub 2.23. Didn't have the regkey mentioned. Found out about vsfilter 2.36. Downloaded. Uninstalled vobsub. Installed vsfilter.

Now I can't play movies with subs. Rebooted. Still nothing.

WMP start up, says it's playing, but it isn't. The little green arrow pops up in the tray, and I can click it and see it's the new vsfilter.

Using tmpgenc it says "<filename>.... not recognized..."

Help....
