I have TOAST and I need to do a firmware update on my stand-alone dvd player.
It says that I need to " burn the disc in Joliet mode (not ISO).".
How do I go into Joliet mode?? I see ISO9660, but no Joliet mode. Anyone here can help me out??
Here is what the exact readme says:
5000 Series Region Set File.
1) Unzip the folders and files to the hard drive in exactly the same order.
2) Burn the folder "RMT000" (including sub files and/or folders) to a blank CDR
3) Make sure you set; 'close' disc and session
4) Make sure you burn the disc in Joliet mode (not ISO)
Insert the disc in the player and follow the screen instructions
Thanks all

Set Toast to ISO 9660, use the Select...-button, goto Settings, in Naming select Joliet. (Maybe Hybrid will work as well, since that includes Joliet.)

Case. Thanks. I did not do it the way you did. I did it in hybrid and select joliet, but after I dropped the file.. it sayd there was nothign to burn. The file size was 5mb. That was weird. But I gave up and used dragon burn and it burned it to my cdr. Now my stand alone dvd watches region free
Next time,, I will try what you said to do.
Thanks
