Write-once BD-R discs are AFAIK not available yet so yes, it should be a rewritable disc. BDA calls btw its rewritable discs for BD-RE for whatever reason...

Yea the standard was developed with rewritable in mind, thats why I assume these disks are RW. I'm not sure the RE mark is an official one RE could stand for rewritable as well as recordable.

These are not Blue Ray discs, according to the ad this is for Sony's Blur Ray Recorder.
Disks for Sony's Blur Ray Recorder. Capacity is 23 gigabyte.
Now who would trust a Blur Ray Recorder, this would mean the laser is out of focus?

well... what i thought was funny..... was where he states in the auction
STORE UP TO 25 FULL LENGTH MOVIES ON A SINGLE BLU-RAY DISC!

so i e-mailed him... just to be a Smart@$$, which i know comes as a suprise to most here
    Hi
So what resolution and what format will these "blu ray" disc's hold 25 full length movies seeing as you state a "blu ray" disc will only hold 27gb ??
vcd ? svcd ? because a full resolution dvd in mpeg2 format is usually at least 6gb uncompressed.
    And this was his reply....
    Do the math

And if you have to ask what the joke is...

What can i say... i was really bored the other night 8) :P
