  1. Dear friends,

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I was wondering if there anyone who can give me an advice about the following issue:

    I have 2 video files:

One has German language and the other has English language (Audio).
I want to take the video from the german language and use the english language on it, they are both same video but not same screen size (they were taken from different sources).
They both have 25fps, one is DivX and the other Xvid.
    They have diffrenet resolutins.

The german audio is 32bit and 48Khz while the english one is 16bit and 44khz.

The german video starts after a minute from the english one.

I tried using premiere but he doesn' tallow me to load both files and work with them together (only one at a time).
I tried Virtual dubmod which was a bit more helpful but whe I add the english wave into the stream, it was unsync, and than I found the box that I can match fps to audio and it helped but still has trouble.

Is there any program I can use to "dub" the german video with the english audio?

I appreciate the help and for reading so far, any help or a hint will do.

    Sincerely,
    Ethan

  2. You can try Soundforge, but it's nearly impossible to sync audio from one source with video from another.

Use virtualdub to extract the audio from the english version and load this into premiere. Read the manual if you need to work out how, but it's not that hard. But syncing them may well be harder than just shifting the new audio up and down the timeline.
