  1. See if anyone knows this. This happens when I try to burn my mp3s onto a cd-r. I noticed that when I load the cd-r into the cd drive, that certain ones display it differently compared to others. One burned data will have it as "list" while another will have the mp3s as "icons" or "details" This is weird since I just add them in either Roxio or Nero and burn. I don't ever remember sorting it a certain way, but apparently it comes out burned a cerrtain way.

    Thanks!

The first question I have for you is:

What are you looking at exactly when you say the MP3's are 'displayed' differently?

Windows Explorer? If that's the case, there's nothing you did, per se, when you burned the disc, but rather it is how Explorer is set to display files and folders on the drive.

If you go to 'View' on the menu bar you will be able to select how to view files/folders:

    Thumbnails - Tiles - Icons - List - Details

Post back and let us know where it is you are 'seeing' these files 'displayed', maybe we can help you more, ok?

    Cheers!

  3. This is when you pop in the disc and windows automatically plays it. In the view area in windows explorer. The funny thing is that different discs I ve burned show differently. For example, one will show the mp3s as icons, the other will show it as details......eventhough I burned it (without changing the options when I burned it) in Nero.

Yes - in Explorer, as I've stated above, there are 5 ways to view your files/folders, and I've listed them all above.

Please note that the views are purely cosmetic in nature, and you can change them at any time via the Folder Options panel in the Tools menu.

    Have fun!

    Cheers!

Yes I understand that you can change them. I was just wondering why some cds load differently than others. One would load details, one would load icons, one would load list....etc EVEN though I burned them the same way.....just curious cuz it seems like its all random
