it doesn't only happen on that menu, it happens on any random menu. the highest it has ever gotten is to menu 13 i believe.

i can't figure out what the problem is, and i tried searching but couldn't find anything.

i will provide any information needed, just let me know.

    please help.
    thanks.

  3. Easy to fix. This is to do with using CPUs that have hyperthreading or are multi-core.

To fix this, bring up windows task manager (CTRL ALT DEL). Under "Processes" find "DVDMaestro.exe". Right-click it and "Set Affinity". UNCHECK one of the CPUs.

You need to do this every time you start the program, but you will never get the "invalid frame rate" error again.

PS: Baldrick: my menu's don't have video motion background. i haven't delved that deep into menu creation yet... maybe later. right now i just want to complete the DVD iam working on. the problem is fixed now, but thanks for replying.

WOW ! WOW ! One year after you posted this, you saved my life

I have recently upgraded to a dual core CPU and this error drove me CRAZY this weekend, it only happens on static menus, randomly, I have just built a DVD with 8 static menus and couldn't compile it after hours trying

I'll try this patch at home tonight !

    THANKS VERY VERY MUCH !!
