  1. Maui_Lover, Wasn't Arlington Road that one where that guy was able to trick the professor into driving a car bomb into the FBI headquarters?

vhelp, Almost Famous was released a year and 3 months ago and won Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards. I've never seen it but all the critics gave it high ratings.

    Kyle,

You got the right movie but you may want to post a spoiler warning in your message as you just let slip a major plot point that should not be revealed for those like Vhelp who have not seen it.

Almost Famous was written and directed by Cameron Crowe and is a semi-autobiogrphical tale about a 15 year old hired by rolling Stone to go on the road with a rock band and write an article for the magazine. Its a great flick.

On another note, I've FINALLY found the DVD movie Dogma!!!
and am playing around with capturing and later, wil try my hand at
RIPping it to see if any differences, etc. But, the movie looks
pretty funny - was told it was very Weird!! ...and also told that they
just finishe doing another one (perhaps a spinoff or sequal)
Anyone care ta comment - Kyle?

Anybody who enjoys Dogma is okay in my book. It's one of my favorites. With the possible exception of Mallrats I love all of Kevin Smith's films.

OH, and to go back to the topic. I don't know what I was doing before but I have encoded some stuff in VCD with higher bitrates and they have been working fine today. I am not sure what the problem was before.

I have a batch encode going now with rates between 1250 and 1800. I figure if It's going to take 2 cds to archive I am going to use all of those cds and not have the second disc be only partially utilized.

Actually I am getting ready to go watch the first ones I did (the ones at the 1800 rate and see how they did)
