I use Dgmpegdec as my soundseparating software. I use Smartripper to extratc the VOBs I want and then run Dgmpegdec.
On som DVDs I get an error message:
Warning. Opening GOP is not closed.
The first few frames might not be decoded correctly.
When I recieve this message the program can't extract the sound. Is there a way that I can bypass this or a setting in the VOB-ripping process that eliminates this? I have tried using DVDshrink to extract the VOBs and the same problem occur so it doesnt seem to be the program but the DVD or some setting I missed tweaking.
Thanks
/K

Hi-
Personally, I have no trouble getting the audio even when the first GOP isn't closed. However, you might try the latest version. It's listed on the front page of this site. -
Smartripper has the ability to demux files whilst ripping:
Basically you tick the streams you want to keep, then for those you want to demux, select them and then click on "demux to extra file".If in doubt, Google it.
