From a demuxed(?) vob file I have an .m2v file and an .ac3 file. I have already edited the original .ac3 file as a wave file and converted back to .ac3 without changing length.

I want to put these two files together (remux?) in order to be pretty much like the original vob (except for the sound editing)

    I have windows xp.

Ifoedit seems to want to do the job but quits when it has reached 99 percent.

Vobedit seems to want to do the job but creates several vob files without stopping. (I get runtime errors on these new vob files and can't check their content)

Are there guides for these programs to do what I want?
Is there more appropriate software? (freeware please-I may be willing eventually to pay for this, but not to experiment and have it not work)

    I appreciate the help.

I'm updating my experience with muxman. I can't seem to include the text files or additional audio files (directors commentary etc.). Is this because I am using the "free" version?

  5. Try Rejig. I use it all the time for simple authoring, works great.
