    Hi

    I have a aunt that asked me to back-up her dvd of her recently deceased husband.

    the disc is from a sony handycam. It is a mini disc. The disc has copy protection and I have a few coasters from trying to back it up. I have tried Dvd Decrypter, Ulead Moviefactory, and Dvd Shrink but still have a disc that will freeze in the middle of the 2nd VOB. (there is only 2 VOBs)

    Short of borrowing her camera and capturing it into Premiere, what are my options?

    it does not have copy protection

    did you finalize the disk ?

    does it play all the way through on a pc ?

    did you clean it ?
