  1. Hi Guys...
    well I just recently heard some where about Bin file....that is Softwares can create a Normal MPEG to Bin format...I fail to understand ..the Meaning of Bin...can any Body please Ellobrate and explain me how BIN can be USed to Burn VCD's and what are the Softwares that can be used ...also please tell me that whther this VCD with BIN file , play on conventional VCD players....

  2. A .bin file is a type if image file. An image file is basically a relatively exact image of a CD or in this case a VCD. A .bin file also usually has a .cue file along with it. A .bin/cue combination is usually burned to CD using either CDRWin or FireBurner. Some programs have the ability to take a mpg file and make it a CD image such as a bin/cue. I can think of relatively few examples of its benefit aside from the fact that it produces an exact image of the original CD in some cases as well as it is faster loading when burning. It is used in some circumstances however. You can extract the mpg file from the bin/cue using a program like VCDGear or you can burn it with the previously mentioned programs.
