Got my Phillips and I LOVE IT! It plays 95% of what I throw at it, but sometimes certain TV rips don't play well, or they're choppy, is there some burning tips I should know to get the best possible results?
Media types? Speeds? Or, if I have one that can't play at all, what spec do I need to convert to? ffmpegX does divx to divx very quickly, but I know little about the format or what to look for.
THANK YOU for the pointers on the players, it's already my main machine, and all for 56 bucks!!!

you probably want to invest in this...

seems like it does divx-to-dvd in one step, and any other video to divx format in one step also.
