Hi

I have been trying to create dvds from minidvs. I have tried it using ulead video studio 9 (for capturing) and procoder 2 (for conversion ntsc to pal) followed by tmpeng (for dvd authoring). I have been unsuccesful as the dvd when played stutters. I have used the original avi file from the capture as indicated in the forum, have the latest procoder and tried cbr and vbr.

So instead of using ulead studio for the capture I used Lets edit 2 to stay in line with canopus products. It works great EXCEPT for when I "stitch" the video in procoder, it shows for less than a second a black screen between the scenes. It is not tmpengs fault as I have played the video straight from procoder in powerdvd.

The question is why are these black screens happenning between scenes stiched and how can I stop it?
Also I did the capture in AVI 2 -is that a possible reason (they have ref avi, mpeg2 to choose from aswell)

Any help is greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating
