Click on post reply and browse for the file under "Upload image or file".

And you must also type filename.zip in the post or you wont get a link to the file.

That just creates a link that says http://filename.zip ...

I've found that the best way is to upload the file "silently" - that is, upload the file but don't put the link to it in your original post, then edit the post, then put the filename.zip in and it then links properly.

@jollyjohn:
I think there's a 2MB limit on files you can upload, and there's also restrictions on what file-types you can upload also. Try zipping or rarring whatever it is you are trying to upload, make sure it's under 2MB, then post a new post with whatever text you need in it, browse to your file and hit submit. Remember to not attempt to link the file in the post yet!

Once uploaded, edit your post, add in filename.zip to the body of your post and hit submit again, and it should link properly this time.
If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks Jim
I could not open the file in a readable format. I added a zip extension and there it was.
Thanks again.
