  1. question about playlists...

i'm putting together the playlist with all the different movies and it works perfectly BUT...is there a way to make chapters of each movie? I don't think there is but i'm curious if you make a "play all" function if there's a way to have each movie become it's own chapter and go to the next one if you choose to watch it that way.

The way to do that is with movie segments, which effectively joins them together into one title at compile time, with the start of each segment being a chapter stop. You cannot have chapter stops between these points in movie segments though.

First, you make each clip play one at a time and return to main menu. Then you use playlist for Play All option.

Please refer to this link to have some idea.

I did that. My question is...when you have the "play all" option...is there a way to have each of those separate clips be one separate chapter? When you're playing the playlist, they all play in sequence BUT you can't skip to the next one. you have to either let it play out or fast forward.

Add a chapter mark right before the end of each clip. Then when you hit NEXT, it should jump to the dummy chapter mark, then continue playing to the next clip. As long as you fade to black for each clip, it can be relatively transparent to the viewer...

Go to your movies and right click on the chapter. Select chapter -> add manually... Format ... Frame Number. For PAL, type 25 and NTSC, type in 30. In this way, you should able to skip to the nearest beginning. I usually add chapter about 5 minutes apart for the entire movie clip.

I'm confused as to what you're talking about. Each of the "movies" i'm using are less than 5 minutes long. I think you're misunderstanding.
