I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a problem i've been
having recently. I'm trying to convert some AVI files to VCD format,
using the Main Concept encoder version 1.4

The problem is that the resulting vcd file has no audio. Actually the
audio plays for approx 1 second, and stops. The files convert fine using
Tmpgenc or Canopus procoder, but i like using Main concept because its
MUCH faster than either of those. This did work in the past, but suddenly
    doesnt work.

The avi file is using the following codecs:

    Video :
    640 MB, 1384 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 624*352 (16:9), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4
    Audio :
    59 MB, 128 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks,

    Win

Well, the avi has the mp3 audio, and i'm converting this to VCD. Its works with other conversion programs, just not Main Concept.
