Whats next?
Life is like a pothole, you just have to learn to get around it. -
Yep, this was going to happen sooner or later!
The sorry Bastards!!
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
If this is truly the guy that works for Nero Recode now, this is not at all unexpected.

There's still www.dvdshrink.info but I don't expect it to last much longer either.

Glad I archived a copy back when decrypter went down. Saw this one coming...

I don't think they're related to DVD Decrypter. This seems more like the guy just decided it was time to retire an old site (what was it? a year outdated?). The domain and/or server is probably expiring soon.

By the way you can still find it here
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/DVD_Shrink.htm
That link is the mirror download site listed on the tools page here.Donadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again") -
the domain and site fees are still paid up until april of next year (2006) ..
it is hosted at rackspace , through an affilliate ISP ..
some of the content is still there (right now anyway) ...
I suspect he just shut it down ...."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
it's had plenty of time to propagate throughout the web now, anyway. Since it's never going to be updated again, why not just take the site down and let others host it?

Yep,
No suprise there!! it's been pretty common knowlege DVD Shrink has been done for awhile, or so i thought, but from alot of comments i have seen lately i guess not
But i have the last 7 versions of DVD Decrypter & the last 3 versions of DVD Shrink archived :P and still use both of them 99.9% of the time with no issues yet -
I been expecting this to happen. 2.3 has been gone for awhile now. I found it interesting that I would get errors with 3.2, yet 2.3 would work just find. Thankfully I have a copy of both.

Old versions of dvdshrink can still be found at http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/dvdshrinkold/
