  1. hi.... ive converted an avi file to dvd but after conversion the last minute of the film is missing???? I tried the same file twice and the same happened.

    The only setting I changed was to uncheck use pulldown and did not use the autofit feature. The resulting files were 4GB exactly in the output dvdfile so why was there the missing 1 minute plus the credits?????

    hope some one can help me

    regards
    rob

    I have log file if required.

    Maybe whoever created the avi, cut it off at that point.

    After S2D is completed are you loading the files into Shrink? If yes, reauthor and see if the last minute is missing there.

  7. i think i have sussed it???the s2d file is 3.99gb hence im on fat 32 and no file can go over 3.99gb - 4096 MB....so is this why im missing the end off the avi file as the files conversion took it to 3.99gb (the max for 1 file)?

    if so how can i limit how much space the conversion takes up??? or do i need to move to windows xp????

    its a great program but I will be limited if I can only use for SVCD if all the above is correct with no chance of fixing unless I move to XP

    Regards

    What is your OS? Convert your filesystem to NTFS is what you need to do to overcome the 4GB limit

    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
