  1. Hello All!

I am brand spankin' new to AviSynth and I am trying to use Quenc to encode a AVI to Mpeg 2.

I tried creating a basic script saying
    AviSource ( path )

and then I tried to load it into quenc. It said it was not yv12 colorspace or something.

I anyone can give me a sample script or a place to find one or a website to just create a very simple script, it would be very appreciated.

  3. When i try to open it it says
    AviSynth open failure:
Script error: There is no function "converttoyv12" line 2.

I have seen this command else where and tried it put i got the same thing.

    Should I try reinstalling AviSynth?

  6. Ok well, I just downloaded Avisynth v2.55 again and I installed it.

Do not get the error anymore, but, when I try to encode with Quenc it seems to work accept that the created file is 0 bytes big. there is nothing there.

  7. well i think this has to do with the computer I just tried HC encoder at it did the same thing. 0byte file but I watched the program work.

I will try it on a different computer.
