    I'm trying to play a recorded mini dv tape on my mini dv camcorder (Panasonic PV-GS 150). But when I start playing it, something is wrong. All across the display there are thick black stripes, some of the pixles keep "lagging" and there is no sound at all. Anyone knows what's wrong?

    ok.. It's not a bad tape. I can clean the head by using a cleaning tape, right?
    What do you mean with tracking?
