I am approaching a deadline and am in a serious bind. I captured at "preview quality" some video footage with Pinnacle 8. After getting everything ready to burn and insert the master tape to recapture at full quality, I realized that I had taped over the footage.
Is there any way to erase the "tape over" stuff to get to the original, or perhaps a way I can finalize a DVD or VCD by rendering "preview" quality footage?

No. Tape is gone.
Better hang onto the preview thing. It's all you have now.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Would I be able to put the "preview" quality video onto DVD or VCD? Or is it just permanently stuck on the computer?

Yes. It won't look as good of course. It's been a very long time since I used Studio, you might have to dig around to find the preview file and create a new project for it.Originally Posted by DON OBA
