    Hello,

    I need to convert some home audio files that are in *.mp3 format , to *.wav format, is there an application i could use for this purpose, any help would be great thanks in advance,

    Note...You won't gain any quality. Since it's already a MP3, that has 10:1 compression, about nine-tenths of the information has already been stripped out and thrown away, and is lost forever.

    Almost any audio editor can do it. I'd use Goldwave or CDEX.
