  1. Ripped Sopranos,(Ripper 2.40) first chapter dvd speed ws 6.0x to 7.0x
    when i ripped the 2nd and 3rd chaps, max speed was 1.7x to 2.0x ???
    My dvd rom is 1 month old and very little use excpt. for past few days. I also un-checked other langs, etc. thinking it would increase, but result was the same. Anyone have any ideas or input. Newbie. Thanks in advance.

    I would guess that the other chapters are closer to the outside of the disc. On most CD/DVD drives the read speed slows down closer to the outside of the disc.

  3. well it depends that if more chpters are in a vob ..it will take longer to read not like if you have 6 chapters in one vob and that will take a lond time

  5. what dvd-rom u use? my toshia - sd-m1502 just plain sux. Only reason I bought it is all those review, and it's 16x.

    I get skip every 20 - 30 mins when play DVD. And when it's play for more than an hour nonstop, it refuses to play another disc until it gte cool down. and i can only rip dvd at 2x max.

  7. Get a Pioneer! defenetly!, cheap, fast, and does the job! or you could get a Lite-On.
