  1. Hi ive been trying to encode the incredibles from avi to mpeg 2 so i can burn it onto a dvd. I've successfully done this before so i was wondering why this occurs:

this happens right when i click on the incredibles file(avi). What do i do now? I plan on converting the avi file to mpeg 2 like i said so i can make a dvd title for it.

IMJO MainConcept has detected that the AVI file you fed it (The Incredibles) is more than likely in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy here, so it threw you out, trying to give you the hint that "Warez includes downloaded copyrighted movies" and that if it's out on DVD, then you need to own a legal copy of the DVD in question to get any assistance with it here.

Buy the DVD, or if by some chance you do own this on DVD, backup the DVD Copy you own using the normal methods, instead of going DVD --> AVI --> DVDR.

    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. is there no way to get around this? because i do not see how there can be this policy unless.... is it possible if i just change the name of the file? I mean if you think about it the only way mainconcept detects the file is by its name because this was given to me by my friend who downloaded it. Well if there is another way please tell im going to try if this works

edit: nevermind that didnt work... so does anyone else know how to get pass this?

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning. No warez, including downloads given to you by a friend.

IMJO = In My Joking Opinion

... and yes, I was just joking. Mainconcept isn't crashing for that reason, but nevertheless, you're asking for help with something that is a no-go zone here at videohelp.com. Please re-read the Acceptable use Policy.
    If in doubt, Google it.
