  1. im trying to convert a DVD NTSC (mpg) , but when i convert it, its full screen, but i dont want it to be full screen. when i use TMPGEnc it has a "full screen (keep aspect ratio)" option. i cant seem to find that option in Mpeg Video Wizard settings. im use the Mpeg Video Wizard DVD NTSC (mpg) template. does Mpeg Video Wizard have that option? if so were is it?

  2. I don't know if this is what you need but you might give this a try. After getting the media onto the timeline, right click on the output pane and select Display - 16:9.

  3. Then dont use the wizard , and load your file from the bottom left. Then hit the load tab and find unlock.mcf in the extras folder that resides in the template folder were you unzipped tmpegenc. Then everything will be unlocked.

  5. Then use the 'Source" file, and do the editing with a "Video Editing Program" before you encode into mpeg. Mpeg editing is not recommended, its easier for avi/uncompressed video to edit, then encode in TMPGEnc.

Its full screen because you need to make your DVD into its compliant size NTSC(720x480) or PAL(720x576) in the video tab, then in the advance tab choose "Center(custom size)), and put in source dimensions. It will put black border around picture.
